I set out to explore how much time I spend listening to music. I measured the time in several ways that are more complicated than “I spent 10 minutes listening to X, Y & Z”. Through a series of livestreams on YouTube, I demonstrated the passing of time while music played in the background. Other things that can be measured gave me a sense of how long I spend listening to music.
How many times can I write my name during the song Purple Rain.
I listened to one of my old favorite songs, Purple Rain. I went live on YouTube on February 24th, 2021 at 9:30 PM EST. I was writing my full name over and over on sheets of paper. I ended up writing my name 72 times. Video is here.
How much does a taper candle melt & also how big of a swatch can I crochet during a playlist of all my favorite songs.
Streamed on YouTube Feb 20, 2021 at 7:30pm EST. The candle height at the beginning of the stream was 9.25 inches tall. I listened to Angels Like You by Miley Cyrus, Shadows and Light (Live) by Joni Mitchell, When My Train Pulls In (Live) by Gary Clark Jr, Computer Blue (Hallway Speech Version) by Prince & Fun Tonight by Lady Gaga. Totaling 31 mins and 47 seconds, the candle was 8.5 inches at the end of the livestream. At the end of the stream the swatch measured 5 inches by 4.25 inches.
how many fish can i catch in animal crossing during sea of everything by prince?
On Wednesday, March 3rd at 10:20pm EST I went live on YouTube and played Animal Crossing. I turned on the song Sea of Everything by Prince and I dove into the water (in the game) to see how many sea creatures I could catch during the duration of the song. I caught 9. Here is a list of the creatures in the order I caught them:
Sea cucumber, Chambered nautilus, Pearl, Seaweed, Acorn barnacle, Sea slug, Firefly squid, Sea anemone & Mantis shrimp. Video is here.
